Forbidden Planet is delighted to announce a signing by Robert Rankin. He will be signing his new book Brightonomicon £12.99 (Gollancz) at the Forbidden Planet Megastore, 179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, WC2 H 8JR, on Tuesday 19th July 1-2pm.
Rankin returns to Brentford with Brightonomicon, leading the reader through the hidden streets of Brighton, which contain twelve ancient constellations, and on each one hangs a tale. Hugo Rune must get to the bottom of these strange tales, because if he doesn't solve the dozen mysteries before the year is out, that'll be the end of the world as we know it. And everything.
Rankin is a prolific writer but also a unapologetic luddite who writes all his books by hand in exercise books.
Rankin will be signing at the Forbidden Planet Shaftesbury Avenue Megastore. Offering a 10,000 square foot of floorspace and over a mile of shelving holding 25,000 products, this store will continue the Forbidden Planet tradition of hosting appearances by the greatest names in science fiction and fantasy.
